Dining

The George sits off the 2A Highway in Okotoks on Southridge Drive, hidden by the rest of the co-op in the plaza. This award-winning pub serves traditional grub such as wings, burgers, and tasty appetizers.

Founded in 2005, The George has become a local favourite, voted Best Bar to Watch Sports for two years in a row. Share the evening with your friends on their patio, or kick back inside the bar and enjoy some of their award-winning wings in more than ten varieties.

If you are in the mood for something a little more substantial, try their lamb curry or Shepard's pie. If you have a gluten allergy, do not worry. The George has you covered with 10-inch pizzas, all available with a gluten-free crust. Natasha's pizza is a delicious blend of grilled chicken, onions, pineapple, and bacon, with a savoury BBQ sauce. Topping it is a nacho cheese and mozzarella blend.

Daily Specials

Every day brings a new special to The George. Wednesdays are wing nights with 45-cent wings and bottles of Bud or Bud Light for $4.50. If you are a pasta lover, Thursdays will appeal to you with all pasta dishes for only $9.95.

On Saturdays, all entrees are only $12.95, and Sunday brings Fish & Chips for only $8.95. Each day also has its own drink specials. Pair that pasta on Thursday with wine and save 40 percent off the bottle or one dollar off every glass.

If you are looking for a place to sit and enjoy the game or have a relaxing time with good food, head on over to The George. After all, you are among family at The George. The only thing you are going to regret is taking so long to come and check this place out.
