The MarketSquare presents plenty of events throughout the year. Some are held throughout the holiday season, while others are annual events. Here's a look at the annual events presented by The MarketSquare each year.
Mother’s Day Market
Held every year around Mother's Day, this event provides more than 80 artisans and vendors. There are all types of items found throughout the market and it's a fundraiser to support the Okotoks Food Bank, as well. Admission is usually only about $2 and the market is held at Foothills Centennial Centre.
BuskerFest
An event full of musicians, street performers, imported products and more, the BuskerFest is one of the largest free events of the year in Okotoks. This event features all kinds of live entertainment and runs from 10am to 3pm on June 27th this year.
Taste of Okotoks
The largest food festival held in Olde Towne Okotoks, the Taste of Okotoks provides plenty of food samples, artisans, live entertainment and more. It's a place to gather and enjoy drinks, art, food from local restaurants and plenty of live entertainment. The event is free and will be held on July 25th from 10am to 3pm this year.
Okotoks Chili Fest
The Okotoks Chili Fest is a fun chili competition with music, artisans, boutique shops, cafes and much more. The chili tasting runs from 11am to 1pm and the event will be held on August 29th this year.
Okotoks Christmas Festival
Held in November every year, the annual Okotoks Christmas Festival is one of the most exciting events of the year. This event provides plenty of great fun with more than 100 artisan vendors, pictures with Santa, Santa's workshop, live carolling and much more.
