Which Subdivision of Okotoks is Right for You? - Part 1

When it comes to buying your next home, there really is no right or wrong answer. In fact, it’s all a matter of what you want that makes a home your own. Okotoks offers a number of subdivisions that can give you attributes and more that your family needs. Here are some of the many communities you may want to consider calling home.
Westridge
Homes in this area are old and new giving you a taste of old culture and new culture. You can find homes sizes of all shapes and sizes regardless of your budget. Homes range from $350,000-$650,000.
Cimarron
Homes in this subdivision range in size and price and some even have ¼ acre of land that comes with them. If you’re looking for neighborhoods that offer ideal places for biking, running and more check out the homes in this area. St Mary’s Elementary is located here and homes typically range in the $350,000 range to well over $1 million.
Westmount
This neighborhood is located at the southern fringe of Okotoks and is in its final stages of being built. This area offers townhomes and condos that range from $300,000 to $600,000. Some homes may be higher in price range than this.
Cimarron Meadows
If you’re looking for something a little more affordable, this is the area to consider. The homes here are on smaller lots though but Catholic schools remain within limits. These homes began going up in 1997 and with homes in the $300,000-$400,000 range you can find something you can afford.
Sheep River Edge
With homes close to an environmental reserve, these homes give you a taste of single family homes that are close to the river. Homes don’t have garages and some of the homes are smaller and you can enjoy the Big Rock Trail as you take advantage of the walking trails along the river making for a great way to spend time with the family.
There are several homes in this area that allow you to find the ideal home whether you are starting out or looking to expand on your family’s needs. Prices are in all ranges allowing you to find what fits your budget as well.
