What will you Find at The Saskatoon Farm?

Come on down to the Saskatoon Farm. There is loads to see, and fun activities to get involved in. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll or pick your own berries. There is nothing like getting outdoors and enjoying mother nature.

Picking Berries

Enjoy delicious berries grown on a 50 acre plot, and ready to be picked. Picking begins in the middle of July to the first week of August. For those just entering the picking plot, there is a $2 fee, as no one can walk by without having a taste of these delicious berries.

Pails are supplied for picking, and it cost $14 per 4 litre ice cream pail, which is approximately 5 pounds. Also, there is pre-picked berries available for $20 per 4 litre ice cream pail. While the berry picking season is occurring, the farm is open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm.

General Store

If you want to sample these delicious berries in some pie, visit the General Store. You can grab a drink as well, including tea, coffee and an assortment of cold drinks. Come hungrey, because you will want to try out some tasty soups, sandwiches and a variety of breakfast and lunch items.

Among other offerings in the General Store, you will find Saskatoon and Chokecherry syrup, Saskatoon jam, vinaigrette, bucking hot sauce and saskatoon honey. The general store is open all year long.

Garden Centre

You will find numerous small fruit trees, which are a variety of ages. Prices will depend on age and size. Other planting assortments are available as well through the farms catalogue. The Garden Centre operates from April 15th to October 31st. Hours of operation are 9 am to 5 pm every day.

You will also want to stop in the gift shop and café to see the variety of offerings they have.
